Software architecture

In this entry of the book is good to know that Software Architecture really means both of its parts, that it uses real architecture and building as an analogy of how the development should be, from the blueprint, detailing all the modules and how they connect one to another, just like in the blueprints used in buildings, to even the point of view that in my opinion are not as closely based, it says they are based on different points of view of the building, one from structure, wiring, plumbing, etc., and they are comparing it to the conceptual, implementation, process and deployment, I can se the relation but I don’t think is as close as talking about the 1 to 1 that are blueprints. Apart from the blueprints they also talk about requirements and how the arquitects must know super well the primal need of their clients, and have a clear view of the project, because bad decisions early are much cheaper that bad decisions in a later stage of the game with the error running through all ...

Moon machines

To begin with I really liked the documentary, most of the time it provided a simple and kind of a tale like feel to the story, one of the first thing that got my attention was what they said about the adjustable speed of the clock in the lab, today that probably would be unorthodox, but in that day where people where not as connected with their devices it could really have had its purpose. Clearly lots of admirable people where involved in the project, not only because of their smarts but because their out of protocol way of doing things, that could have gone bad easily and it kind of went wrong talking about all the delays that they had but in the end I think they took just enough precautions to compensate for the wacky things they were doing. Proof of that was using the last, basically not finished tech (silicon chips), that was their bold move, but they rejected most of the chips that were sent and took enough precautions to make it a viable solution and probably the best they h...

Hi my name is Hector, from the class I’m not really sure what to expect, I think to recognize standard patterns in software and the best practices to implement thing that they describe or overcome some problem, something like that, I repeat, I’m not really sure if this course is about that or it is included, but those are my expectations, as for me, most of my free time I watch videos from the web, play some games, read some books, things like that. About the things that I’ve recently enjoyed, well I’ve never read Harry Potter, I just started reading it at the end of summer and now I’m not really sure if I will have the chance to end it in a reasonable amount of time,I’m a slow reader ,other books that I’m currently reading are Django unleashed and Django design patterns and best practices, the first is to fill gaps in my learning path and the second one I think is a really strong complement for how I’m reading the first one, some Netflix series that I’ve enjoyed rece...
